How quickly the year is passing by. Term 2 ends next week and winter is here. By now you should have received your June newsletter. Please return any new enrolments to the office by the end of next week as the office will close for the school holidays and re-open on Monday July 14.

A couple of dates for your diary

Running against depression – Wednesday 25 June. From 11am, Beaumaris Seniors Centre. Playwright Neil Cole will share with us his
personal observation of the role of exercise in reducing the effects of a mental illness. This will be an anecdotal presentation. It will look at ways of
reducing depression. All welcome; after the seminar, coffee/tea will be served free of charge, light luncheon available with $5 donation.

Christmas in July – “A very Cuckoo Christmas”. Tuesday July 25. Cost: $65. Time: 8.50am for a 9am departure from outside Beaumaris library in Reserve Rd Beaumaris. Coach travel to Grant’s Picnic Ground in Kallista for morning tea; short time to browse shops in Olinda; Christmas buffet lunch & entertainment at “The Cuckoo” German style restaurant in Olinda; return by approx. 3.30pm.
